Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Fez :
This next day, we will start driving towards the city of Fez. Along the way, we will stop at the spiritual town of Moulay Idriss and at Volubilis, which is a city of ruins left by the Roman Empire. After lunch at Volubilis, we will arrive at the imperial city of Meknes, also known as “The Versailles of Morocco”. We will have a tour of the city focusing on the most iconic monuments. Finally, we will arrive in Fez where we will have dinner and spend the night at a hotel.
Day 3: Fez – Historical Tour :
We will have breakfast first, then we will start our exploration of Fez. Fez was perhaps the beating heart of Arab-Muslim culture back in the day, which was made true because of the decisions of king Idriss II. Being home to the oldest ancient Medina in Morocco and the oldest university in the world, Fez has preserved all of its culture and monuments through time, such as The Mosque of the Andalusians, the leather tanneries, and the pottery cooperatives. You will get to try a traditional Moroccan lunch, after which you will visit more monuments, like the Nejjarine and the Madrassas.
Day 4: Fez – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Dunes :

We will head back to the hotel to have lunch and prepare for our camel trekking ride through the dunes. At around 3 in the afternoon, you will begin the trek as you will get to ride on the back of a camel, enjoying the breathtaking sunset over the desert dunes. After about an hour and a half ride, the camels will take you to the desert camp where you will enjoy dinner in a relaxing Sahara atmosphere. Seize this opportunity to stargaze in the clear desert night sky, then you can go to bed in your personal tent.
Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges :
We will wake up in time to watch the very special desert sunrise, after which we will head back to our hotel to have breakfast and get to chance to shower.
