DESERT TOUR CASABLANCA TO MARRAKECH

Casablanca to Marrakech desert tour, Itinerary:

1 Day: Casablanca – Rabat -Meknes

We will start our Casablanca to Marrakech tour by picking you up from your accommodation to go take a look at the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, after which we will head straight to Rabat. There are many iconic monuments you can see in Rabat, including The Mechouar of the Royal Palace, the ruins at the Chellah Kasbah, the Mohammed V mausoleum, and the Hassan tower Minaret. Next, we will spend some time exploring the streets of Meknes city before finally reaching Fez, where we will spend the night at a traditional Riad.

2 Day : Fez – medilt – Ziz Valley Merzouga

Leaving the beautiful Fez, we will start our trip towards the Sahara desert and Merzouga. We will drive by the town of Ifrane and the cedar forests at Azrou, where we might see some wild macaque monkeys. You will get the chance to take some pictures of the breathtaking beauty of Morocco. For a traditional lunch, we will stop at a small village called Zaida, then we will continue driving through the Atlas Mountains. Once we arrive at Erfoud, you will start getting the sense of a more Saharian atmosphere, at the oasis of Tafilalet. Finally, we will arrive at Merzouga, where we will spend the night in a local hotel.

 3 Day : Erg Chebbi Desert- Merzouga Night in Desert

After breakfast, we will start our day by traversing the Dades and Todra gorges and Tinghir, to finally arrive at the desert dunes at Merzouga. We will meet many small villages during our trip, some of which are Jorf, Tinjdad, and Erfoud. At this point, you will begin to notice the change in landscape, as we enter the Tafilelt Oasis. When we arrive in Merzouga, you can choose to spend the night either in a Riad or a hotel in the middle of the desert dunes.

4 Day : Merzouga –dades – todra gorges-Ouarzazate

We will wake you up early in order to watch the sunrise over the desert dunes, after which you will get to shower and have breakfast. After that, we will ride on the back camels to go back to Merzouga. Our next destination will be the city of Ouarzazate, which we will reach after driving through the high Atlas Mountains, passing by many villages such as Boumalene Dades, Tinjdad, Tinghir, Todra, and others. Finally, we will spend the night in Ouarzazate.

5 Day: Ouarzazate – Atlas Mountains  Marrakech

For the last day of our trip, we will leave the city of Ouarzazate to head towards Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. We will drive by the famous mountain pass of Tizin Tichka, which is 2260 meters high. This will allow you to get breathtaking views of the mountain landscapes and the villages of the area.
