Itinerary desert tour from Marrakech: 

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Draa Valley – Mhamid

Our desert tour from Marrakechakech will start when we pick you up from your accommodation, then we will start driving towards the Sahara desert. Through the High Atlas Mountains, we will drive by the famous mountain pass of Tizin Tichka, which will give us a view of the breathtaking landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains and the neighboring small villages.

Our first stop of the day will at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. In addition to being a recognized UNESCO world heritage site, the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou has attracted many important movie directors throughout the years. After that, we will keep driving along the Draa valley, surrounded by Palm trees from both sides. The last stop we will make along the way, after Zagora, will be to discover the historical underground Kasbah of Tamegroute. Finally, we will arrive at the Mhamid village where you will get to spend an unforgettable night at a traditional desert camp, in the middle of the dunes of Erg Lihoudi.

Day 2: Mhamid –Zagora – Agdz – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

We will make sure to wake you up in time to catch the magnificent sunrise over the desert dunes, then after breakfast, we will ride on camels to head back to the Mhamid village. After this, we will start driving through the beautiful Draa valley, which will allow you to uncover all the secret gems from the south. For lunch, we will head to Ouarzazate city, where we will also visit the historical Kasbah of Taourirt. Finally, we will head back to Marrakech, driving through the high Atlas Mountains to end our desert tour from Marrakech.
