Day trip from Fez to Volubilis (Excursion)
After breakfast, we will begin our day trip from Fez to Volubilis towards the Roman ruins. Volubilis is a city of ruins left behind in Morocco by the great Roman Empire during the 3rd century BC. Also, Volubilis is a preserved UNESCO world heritage location, for it still perfectly conserves most of its ruins. However, the main ones that you’ll get to discover through our excursion are the temple of Jupiter, the basilica, the arc of Coachella, the forum, and the artistic mosaic. Over a land of 40 acres and being very close to Meknes city, the city of Volubilis sure is a gem worth visiting. After exploring, this wonder, we will end our Volubilis Fez Excursion.
