DAY TRIP TO OUARZAZATE THROUGH THE ATLAS MOUNTAINS
This excursion will allow you to grasp the real magnificence of the valleys and landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains, with the presence of small and scattered Berber villages everywhere along the way. As we drive through the high mountain pass of Tizin Tichka (2260 meters high), we will meet many sellers of semi-precious stones. The snow-covered mountain peaks and the river offer a semi-desert atmosphere that you will start to notice as we drive by traditional houses made simply from clay and straws. This is when we will finally arrive at Ouarzazate, where we will visit many iconic monuments such as the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. This last one is important for being a recognized UNESCO world heritage site, and the filming location of many big international movies.
