Itineraries
Day 1
Tangier – Tetouan – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen
You arrive in Tangier and start with a short orientation in the medina and coastal area. Then you drive south through Tetouan and the Rif Mountains. You stop for views and photos along the road. In the afternoon, you reach Chefchaouen. You walk through the blue streets, visit Outa El Hammam square, and explore the Kasbah. In the evening, you hike to the Spanish Mosque for sunset views over the city. Overnight in a riad.
Day 2
Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
You leave Chefchaouen after breakfast and head inland. First stop at Volubilis. You walk through Roman ruins, mosaics, and ancient streets. Then you continue to Meknes. You visit Bab Mansour gate, Moulay Ismail mausoleum, and the old medina. After lunch, you drive to Fes. Stop at Merenid tombs for a panoramic view. Overnight in a riad.
Day 3
Fes
You spend the day exploring Fes with a local guide. You enter through Bab Boujeloud and walk into the old medina. You visit Al Qarawiyyin University, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the tanneries. You see traditional workshops for leather, ceramics, and textiles. Streets get narrow and crowded, part of the experience. Afternoon includes the royal palace gates and Mellah district. Overnight in Fes.
Day 4
Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
You leave early for a long drive to the desert. First stop in Ifrane, known for alpine style buildings. Then Azrou cedar forest where you see wild monkeys. Continue through Midelt for lunch. Cross the Ziz Valley with palm groves and old kasbahs. By late afternoon, you reach Merzouga. You ride camels into the dunes. Sunset on Erg Chebbi. Dinner and overnight in desert camp.
Day 5
Merzouga – Rissani – Tinghir – Todra Gorges
Wake up early for sunrise over the dunes. Ride back by camel and continue by road. Stop in Rissani market, then drive to Tinghir oasis. You reach Todra Gorges. Walk between high canyon walls with a small river. Free time for photos and short walks. Overnight near the gorges.
Day 6
Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou
You drive through Dades Valley and stop at viewpoints. Continue through Roses Valley and visit a local cooperative. Reach Ouarzazate and visit film studios. Then continue to Ait Ben Haddou. Walk inside the kasbah and climb to the top for views. Sunset over the village. Overnight nearby.
Day 7
Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Tizi n’Tichka – Marrakech
You cross the High Atlas Mountains. Drive through Tizi n’Tichka pass with stops for views and photos. Visit an argan oil cooperative. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon. Free time to explore Jamaa El Fna square and local markets. Overnight in a riad.
Day 8
Marrakech
You explore Marrakech with a guide. Visit Koutoubia Mosque area, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and Ben Youssef Madrasa. Walk through souks and artisan areas. Afternoon free for gardens or shopping. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 9
Marrakech – Essaouira
You drive west to the coast. Pass argan tree areas and small villages. Arrive in Essaouira by midday. Walk along the port, Skala ramparts, and medina. Try fresh seafood. Relaxed evening by the ocean. Overnight in Essaouira.
Day 10
Essaouira – Marrakech
