Itineraries
Day 1
Tangier – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen
You get picked up in Tangier. Short orientation of the city, then drive south through the Rif Mountains. You reach Chefchaouen in the afternoon. Free time to explore the blue streets and relax. Overnight in a riad.
Day 2
Chefchaouen
Free day to explore. Walk through Outa El Hammam square, visit the Kasbah, and explore local shops. Late afternoon hike to the Spanish Mosque for sunset views. Overnight in the same riad.
Day 3
Chefchaouen – Meknes – Fes
You leave Chefchaouen and drive inland. Stop in Meknes to visit Bab Mansour gate, the mausoleum, and the medina. Continue to Fes. Arrival in the afternoon. Overnight in a riad.
Day 4
Fes
You explore Fes with a guide. Enter through Bab Boujeloud and walk through the old medina. Visit Al Qarawiyyin University, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the tanneries. Explore souks and artisan workshops. Afternoon includes royal palace gates and Mellah. Overnight in Fes.
Day 5
Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Long drive to the desert. Stop in Ifrane, then the Azrou cedar forest to see monkeys. Lunch in Midelt. Continue through Ziz Valley with palm groves and kasbahs. Arrive in Merzouga. Overnight in a desert hotel.
Day 6
Merzouga
Morning 4×4 desert tour. Visit Khamlia village and nomad families. Return for rest, then camel trek into the dunes. Watch the sunset over Erg Chebbi. Dinner and overnight in the desert camp.
Day 7
Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
Sunrise in the desert. Return by camel, then drive through Rissani and Erfoud. Stop at Todra Gorges for a walk between cliffs. Continue to Dades Valley. Overnight in a riad.
Day 8
Dades – Roses Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate
Drive through the Valley of Roses and stop at a local cooperative. Continue to Skoura oasis and kasbahs. Arrive in Ouarzazate. Visit film studios and local sites. Overnight in hotel.
Day 9
Ouarzazate – Taznakht – Taliouine – Taroudant
Drive south through changing landscapes. Stop in Taliouine, known for saffron production. Continue to Taroudant. Explore the medina and ramparts. Overnight in a riad.
Day 10
Taroudant – Agadir – Essaouira
Drive to Agadir for a short coastal stop. Continue along the Atlantic with argan tree landscapes. Arrive in Essaouira. Free time in the medina and port. Overnight in a riad.
Day 11
Essaouira
Guided walk through the city. Visit Skala ramparts, port, and medina. Free afternoon for beach or shopping. Overnight in Essaouira.
Day 12
Essaouira – Marrakech
Drive inland to Marrakech. Afternoon free to explore Jamaa El Fna and souks. Overnight in a riad.
Day 13
Marrakech
Guided city tour. Visit the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia area, and Ben Youssef Madrasa. Explore markets and artisan quarters. End of tour.
