Itineraries
Day 1
Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Draa Valley – Zagora – M’Hamid
Departure from Marrakech. Drive through the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka pass. Stop at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Visit Tamnougalte Kasbah. Continue through the Draa Valley with palm groves. Lunch stop in Zagora. Arrival in M’Hamid. Overnight in a traditional kasbah or accommodation.
Day 2
M’Hamid – Oasis – Chegaga Dunes
Breakfast at the accommodation. Visit M’Hamid El Ghizlane village and local kasbahs. Explore the oasis and palm groves. Transfer by 4×4 into Chegaga dunes. Camel trekking at sunset. Arrival at desert camp. Dinner and overnight in camp under the stars.
Day 3
Chegaga – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Marrakech
Sunrise in the desert. Breakfast at camp. Drive via off-road Paris-Dakar tracks and Lake Iriqui. Stop in Foum Zguid. Lunch in Taznakht. Return to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains.
