This 12-day journey from Casablanca explores Morocco’s imperial cities, Atlantic coast, Atlas Mountains, and Sahara Desert. Itineraries

Day 1

Casablanca – Rabat

Arrival in Casablanca and meet your driver. Start with a guided visit to Hassan II Mosque, known for its oceanfront location and detailed craftsmanship. Continue through the city with stops at the Corniche, Habous district, and old Medina. Travel to Rabat in the afternoon for overnight stay.

Day 2

Rabat – Meknes – Fes

Explore Rabat with visits to Kasbah of Oudaya, Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, and Chellah Necropolis. Walk through the Andalusian Gardens before continuing to Meknes. Stop at the Volubilis Roman ruins and Moulay Idriss village along the way. Continue to Fes for an overnight stay.

Day 3

Fes

Full day guided tour of Fes Medina. Visit the ancient city gates, leather tanneries, Nejjarine Museum, and traditional madrassas. Walk through artisan quarters, pottery workshops, and narrow streets filled with local markets and crafts.

Day 4

Fes – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Dunes

Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains with a stop in Midelt for lunch. Continue through Ziz Valley with palm groves and desert landscapes. Pass Erfoud and small Berber villages before reaching Merzouga near the Sahara dunes. Overnight stay in desert region.

Day 5

Merzouga – Erg chebbi – Merzouga

Explore Merzouga’s surroundings, including Khamlia village with Gnawa music, desert oases, and nomadic areas. Visit local Berber communities and desert viewpoints. In the afternoon, begin camel trekking into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sunset before arriving at the desert camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6

Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges

Early morning sunrise over the dunes. Return by camel to Merzouga and continue towards Rissani market and fossil areas in Erfoud. Travel through Todra Gorge with time for a walk in the canyon. Continue to Dades Valley for overnight stay.

Day 7

Todra Gorges – Dades Boumalen – Roses Valley – Ouarzazate

Drive through Rose Valley, known for its seasonal rose production and local cooperatives. Continue through the Skoura palm oasis and visit Kasbah Amerdil. Arrive in Ouarzazate for an overnight stay with a free evening.

Day 8

Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Drive through Rose Valley, known for its seasonal rose production and local cooperatives. Continue through Skoura palm oasis and visit Kasbah Amerdil. Arrive in Ouarzazate for overnight stay with free evening.

Day 9

Marrakech

Full guided exploration of Marrakech Medina. Visit Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and historic gardens. Explore Jemaa el-Fna square, souks, and artisan quarters with free time for shopping and walking.

Day 10

Marrakech – Essaouira

Travel to Essaouira along the Atlantic coast. Explore the medina, Skala ramparts, fishing port, and artisan workshops. Enjoy free time by the ocean before overnight stay in Essaouira.

Day 11

Essaouira – El Jadida – Casablanca

Return to Casablanca via coastal route. Stop at Oualidia for seafood and lagoon views, then continue through El Jadida with its Portuguese architecture. Arrive in Casablanca for overnight stay.
